The Sessions Recordings exist since 2004. Label honcho C-Jay started the label back in those days cause he wanted to have total freedom in what to make and when to release it, whilst trying to get the attention of the bigger labels.

Well, as most of you know by now that succeeded. Both C-Jay and the label gained a solid worldwide reputation. Both consumers and DJ’s praised the releases by their quality in sound and arrangement. The label distinguishes itself not only by C-Jay’s signature sound but also through the high end mastering quality. The world’s best mastering studio is responsible for the finishing touch of the music.

Since 2006 the label transformed into a digital label, selling tunes through all major digital portals like Beatport, Juno and I-Tunes.Early 2007 the label releases also came out on CD single format. And as of 2008, C-Jay’s first artist album on double cd saw the light of day, with the help of Baroque records and EMI music.

The label is managed by world renowned UK based Critical Rhythm Label Management! This means that The Sessions Recordings benefit of years of experience of this management group that includes labels like Baroque, Method, Plastik Park and BozBoz. Thanks to a high-tech software system all labels in this group can manage their own activities like sending out promo’s and sending the music to all stores and still benefit of the know how, help with 3rd party licensing and office administrations of Critical Rhythm.

There are several possibilities, of which a wav mixdown is most common. You can send over your track split up in wav files per track (kick, snare, hihat, bass etc. etc.) and C-Jay will mixdown and finetune your track.

Several prices are possible, depending on the time that’s needed to put it. But all is negotiable, even including a full project up untill mastering, leaving you with a professional sounding finished product.
